So this post is Hella old. But it's the only place to update in case anyone stumbles on it.

Koch is a quadraplegic. The host Thomas Gottschalk immediately resigned. Koch came on the show and said he didn't blame anyone. The show was canceled a few years later. It was revived in 2021 as a special to celebrate Gottschalks 70th and Gottschalk came back for a few more specials, but quit for good.

No more specials since 2023, but Tokio Hotel band members just announced they want to revive it a third time, so another special is slated for the end of this year.

Koch has done acting, directing and has done some extreme sports as tandems like skydiving and base jumping. He sang in the 2023 season of Germanys Masked Singer.

Does anyone remember the clip where it was some competition in mud and one person slipped and broke their neck and were basically drowning, and the show host kept trying to joke around while the person was drowning? I think that person lived I can't remember well. If anyone knows the clip I'd love to see it again I can't find it.
