Great post! As an aside, if they "bet" something and succeed, what exactly do they win? This guy looks like he was in fabulous shape before the accident, so what was he gaining being on the show?

I don´t exactly know what this bet was about. But the viewers can vote for the best bet and the winner will win money and a car I think. The bet itself is more about the VIP who can guess if he or she can do it or not. If the VIP fails he/she has to do something stupid or whatever. The only "interesting" thing about this show are the VIPs. It´s very popular here in Germany. I never watch it myself.  The accident happened because he touched the car while doing the somersault over the car. That´s why he couldn´t land properly. |
