The poor child suffered from Anencephaly. It is a neural tube defect. The parents had nothing to do with it. Very few of these poor lil ones do survive for more than a few hours or in rare instances, days. |

Anencephaly plus a bilateral cleft lip and palate. Anencephaly is not a survivable condition, but it seems likely that the babies don't suffer, since they have no brain.
