Baby Monkey Delivered From Mother Killed by Car in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand, 2018
A pregnant macaque was killed by a tourist's car at Wat Khao No in Nakhon Sawan province, Thailand, in 2018. A local woman with no medical training cut open the dead mother and delivered its baby alive. The woman drew on her recollection of her own child's delivery by C-section. She took the newborn home and fed it milk through a syringe. The baby was reported to be doing well. |

they had to be veterinarians or at least very familiar with the procedure. and they also had a scalpel so not every body carries one of those around. sad but good video. thanks.
