Stories like these REALLY make me miss working. I worked with developmentally disabled adults for several years before I was hit with vertigo. Even had my favorite client in our wedding! He wore a cowboy hat, jeans pulled up to his nipples, a belt buckle as big as my hand, and mismatched cowboy boots. It was perfect. |

my little brothers are 12 and 14; they are both autistic. I'm on the Asperger's spectrum myself. This was just such a beautiful story of kindness, patience and understanding! |
