Re: Attempting to Pull Out a Breech Baby
Having given birth twice, it doesn't look fake to me at all. Fake would be too much or the wrong type of stuff. I suffered from low/almost no amniotic fluid with my second child, and she also had fetal distress like this. What I see in the photos is what a breech baby would most likely look like delivered vaginally and not via emergency c like would happen in a western hospital once they discovered your baby is not turned correctly. And the afterbirth doesn't come right out with the baby, it can take quite a while to pass or be a complication if it doesn't pass. In the photos after the baby is born you can see a normal amount of bloody amniotic fluid, meconium, and a baby who's torso also seems to be stained slightly green by meconium. All in all, I think it is real and I hope whoever she is, she was able to get at least rudimentary medical care afterward to ensure the breech birth (which can be feet first or butt first) did not damage her internally, and that baby did not wind up suffering any bacterial infection from inhalation or swallowing of meconium-tainted amniotic fluid. |
