Assisted Suicide Of Michele Causse

Michèle Causse died Thursday at the age of 74. " She chose to die on her birthday at the Swiss association Dignitas " in Zurich, according to the association, which actively helps those who wish to do so, including foreign patients, to end their suffering. Michèle Causse has written numerous books, essays, fiction, short stories, and poems in which she has developed a radical critique of the patriarchal world and sought a new language "where gender equality would be effective." She has also translated around thirty books from English and Italian (Melville, Gertrude Stein, Djuna Barnes, Mary Daly, Silone, Pavese, Natalia Ginzburg, Alice Ceresa, etc.). She has also taught and has been a visiting professor in Rome (chair of adult education), a consultant at UNESCO (literacy department, where she used the methodology created by Alice Ceresa, Library Unit) and a visiting professor in Montreal at Concordia University. Her ashes will be scattered not far from his native village in the cemetery of Montvalent, in the Lot.

Well she did go out on her own terms and she looked nice. Hopefully she found the peace she wanted. I'd like to know what the stuff was that she drank. That's easily the most peaceful suicide I've ever seen.
