i bow hunt. how the hell do you shoot somebody? it's not like a bullet traveling up to a mile. you actually have to see your target clearly. as for the ones thru the hand, happened to a friend of mine. composite arrow shattered when the string was released and pushed the arrow right thru his wrist and out his hand . he almost bled to death.

Had a relative who pulled his eye out of his socket with an arrow. It dangled by the optic nerve until they put it back in. He can see just as well as before.
