A young adult male was travelling in a four wheeler when there was a road traffic accident. He sustained fracture dislocation of the left elbow, Segmental loss of brachial artery, Median nerve and radial nerve large area of composite soft tissue loss over the anterior aspect of left arm, forearm and elbow.
It was decided not to salvage the limb due to extensive nature of injury and the Prolonged rehabilitation required, A consent for the same was taken and all efforts to keep a long stump be taken to help in rehabilitation.
