question! when I imagine trying to free a paper from the paper shredder, I would put my fingers pointing downwards, to the floor, wouldnt that create horizontal lines? going UP the fingers? Im looking at her fingers and wondering how in the hell she can cut ALL of them at once? even if you slid your hand in sideways, pinky first, how did she get all her fingers sliced?

Some one thought it was one of those machines that tenderize meat at the butchers. So far that has been one of the most likely culprits.
You can kind of see the blades inside and visualize how it would cut the hand.

The information I provided was some that was provided to me when I posted this same pic in Medical. There you will find convincing information as to why this could not be a paper shredder.

Thanks collaredgirl65, it is a rather minor topic, but let's face it, better we have facts then speculation, one explanation I got was a meat grinder, but the images showed an old hand cranked one, I really think you would stop cranking once the fingers started to blend with the rest of the meat :)
