This reminds me of a white moose we had in Norway. His name was Albin, he was a real cutie. (apparetnly he wasn't a real albino, he was just a rare white colour)  And there was an un-official rule between all the hunters that they would not shoot him during hunting season. It lasted for 5 years, until a stupid Danish hunter killed him in 2011   But it looks like Albin fathered some offspring before the Danish guy killed him. So there will be more white moose in my part of Norway   Edit: last pic is really big, sorry about that. |

These are actually I wont say abundant in my area but somewhat common. There was a siting of actually 3 of these in one spot 10 miles from where I lived. One was also shot by a hunter just this year and you can imagine the stir that caused. He thought he did good until everyone frowned on this guys judgment for shooting a white moose!
