Afghan Woman Tries to Commit Suicide but Lands on Top of Van
Security camera caught an Afghan woman Ş. K. (27), that climbed to the roof of a 4-storey building with the intention to jump to commit suicide, landing on top of a van where a worker from a textile workshop was busy loading fabric. The young woman fell on the van. An ambulance was called to the scene. The young woman was taken to hospital. It was determined that the woman's arm was broken. The workshop owner said that the car parked in front of the door to load the fabric arrived a minute before the woman jumped from the roof. Ş. K.'s neighbour claimed that she had psychological problems and that she might have jumped to commit suicide. |

It's no wonder if she was struggling with her mental health. Afghanistan on the whole is one helluva shithole country for women. I think even the strongest of us would start to crumble if being treated like cattle (or even less than) on a daily basis  |
