Really fucked up ideals about what women should be punished for doing/not doing in countries like that. Seems like a lot of the "rules" are made on the fly as well, depending on what the husband wants. Glad I don't live in a shit hole like that. |

one of my girlfriends just got back from afghanistan - she was on patrol and there were 2 little girls who had acid thrown on their faces just minutes before they arrived; the girls' crime? they were trying to learn how to read. wtf is wrong with people!? in the photo it looks like her son - hopefully he grows up to realize that throwing acid in someone's face isn't the way to go.. |
