Acid Injuries
Photo 1: Photo shows Ross Hollingsworth after being assaulted by his wife \ 's ex-boyfriend jealous, who threw sulfuric acid concentration on his face, causing permanent blindness in one eye and skin lesions horrible. photo 1-2 : This 27-year-old woman received burns to nitric acid in the face, neck, right upper extremity and chest wall. Follow-up after two weeks. The assault in this case was perpetrated by a woman? S ex-boyfriend, who could not tolerate her marriage to someone else. The scar tissue was debrided. |

I did that once in AP Chem 2 my senior year in high school. I was playing around and some 18 molar sulfuric acid exploded and ate holes into my arm. The holes grew back but i have little dot scars all up my arm and the computer keyboard at my lab station looked like swiss cheese. i think that that stuff actually has a negative pH number.
