Acetone and Candlelight

A woman posted this a few hours ago on Facebook.
She was in the process of removing her Acrylic nails by soaking them in Acetone (nail polish remover). When removing her hands from the bowl, the flame from the candle lit up her hands like a Christmas tree. This is the aftermath. She needs skin grafts to repair the damage and nothing is helping the severe pain she is going through.
I just thought this was an unexpected and unusual situation that you all may appreciate.

Re: Acetone and Candlelight

So she was soaking her entire hands in the bowl or only the fingertips. any way next to a candle is asking for problems plus the aceton is really bad for your skin.

Just another reason to add to the list of why I don’t do fake nails. Yuck!

Fuuuuuuuuck that looks sore! But you're kinda asking for trouble using a bowl of flammable liquid near an open flame
