It's because that coin was ten feet in diameter and that was the fetus of a giant which would have grown over 100 feet tall if it had not been aborted. Chilling? You bet your Ronin sword it's chilling.

And how do we know these were aborted? It could have unfortunately been miscarriage/pre-term. What if the abortion was performed because the mother's life is in danger? You can't just assume the abortion is always done purely for "selfish" reasons.
