Re: Is Abortion Murder?
I understand your reasoning in some ways. That said... there is a big difference in miscarriage, and abortion. I had a miscarriage, and there is no way shape or form that I chose for my babie's life to end. I was utterly devestated. Oh.... and on the religous part of your post..... everything in life happens for a reason. We learn from everything we expierience...good or bad...God or no God. |

Re: Is Abortion Murder?
I understand what you're saying too, (and btw, I suffered a miscarriage with my first pregnancy too, and quite late for one to happen, almost 4 months along) but I think you kind of missed my point on the religious thing. My problem is with the real religious nutjobs that yell at people and stand by the road holding signs and some that even threaten and/or injure/kill abortion providers...IF god exists and is in control of everything, then HE CAUSES babies to die via miscarriage, thus he would be guilty of the exact same thing that these people are against and citing god as the reason they are against it. And by religious people's own logic, IF god exists and controls all, then he set into motion the circumstances that led the woman to get an abortion and IF he is omnipotent, then he knew she would get an abortion from the beginning. Thus, getting an abortion would also be part of "god's plan" so why in the world are the religious people protesting it? I agree in part with your statement that we learn from everything we experience, however, that doesn't mean it necessarily happens "for a reason." Just because we learn from it does not mean that it happened for that reason. It's just a fact that we learn from experiences. My experiences have led me to the conclusion that the "god" of all world religions is bunk, thus I am an agnostic. I'd also say that looking at a lot of the video and pictures on this site, it seems kind of silly afterwards to believe that there is some god looking out for us. Surely if someone's death was part of his "plan" he could have led them to die in a less painful or gruesome way and still carried out his "plan". I sure would love to learn from experience what it's like to be a multimillionaire, but that's unlikely to happen. LOL! |

Re: Is Abortion Murder?
Good points But..hay these kind of sites are really not for "christians" to be viewing becuz of what the Bible says about the eyes being the window to the soul or not exactly like that but you no what i mean, in essence your mind is a camera and it "takes Pictures" itself thus u rememeber certain things more clearly, like u can close yur eyes and still see things plainly..but as a christian who has visited this site..i know Im a hypocrite..i think its a good venue to see that really the way you die DOES NOT determine the way a person lived. usually "the nicest people" get killed or kidnapped and raped and murdereed ect...but as far as abortion is concerned if when you were in your mothers womb were asked "would like to see life?" would u choose to say no thanks..point being if the baby could choose they would certainly choose to live! spontaneous abortions are usually a result of a medical anomoly, like the baby usually has a defect in its development thus the body rids it as if it is a "foreign body" it the way your body is made, preventing for example a stillborn ect..i think i would rather the God take the unborn via miscarriage than to go to term and lose it then..thats just a viewpoint,, i defintely am not a expert but a PRO LIFE supporter especially seeing this site!! who wouldnt be PRO LIFE, seems like death..sucks...p.s. I LUUUUUV me some JESUS!!! |
