no hun they arent peppers
i stew red and green tomatoes to add
some of the green tomatoes were starting to turn red and they have a little orange in them
its very yummy
see here are the tomatoes stewing
So i stand by my comment about me being stupid lol i only use yellow tomatoes when i grow them

i also add a can of rotel hot diced tomatoes
but i love to add my own fresh ones
and adding a few green gives flavor but cuts the acid

oh and i also add half black beans not all dark red kidney
