Is Abortion Murder?

is it murder? the baby was alive, and then it was squashed, cut up, and suctioned out. so yes. it was even premeditated. but i think women are also victims in this, they have been taught their whole lives that it's a blob of tissue, nothing really important until some unknown date passes and suddenly it's a real baby.

men made abortion legally possible so that they would never have to deal with the consequences of their own sexual behavior. who's dirtier than a politician?

do i understand desparation? i was a single mother, still looking for work, and not in my own apartment yet after coming back from a stint in the military service. i had to tell my parents back in the early 80's when it was soooo totally wrong to be an unwed mother. but i did it. and with two more weeks i secured a job and an apartment and moved on. turns out the company folded and i had to go on AFDC. then i went into preterm labor and i had to stop looking for work and go on bedrest. i decided to stay home with my son. i've never once regretted having him.

i wish women didn't have to make these choices. i wish they didn't feel like this was the only choice they had, because i'm not always certain that's true. it's our own fears that back us into corners. i met several single moms who were still going to college. i received a lot of help from different pro-life agencies when i was pregnant, maternity and baby clothing, furniture, a stroller, diapers, food.

i wish both men and women used birth control all of the time; without operator errors. i've managed to do so for the rest of my life now.

of course excepting the 1st statement, these are all my opinions. and we know about those; right?

Depends on whether or not the fetus can survive on its own or not. If it can then yes it is, if it cant then no its not. But regardless we still cant put the rights of someone whos not born yet above the rights of someone whos already here.

So basically we are going to allow our govrnment to make another thing illegal for us to go.. Go you. People who believe that it is not a persons CHOICE to do this is idiotic. Sure if you dont want to have an abortion go you! But dont make it a law that it says that you CAN'T do it. The point off being free is that we can make our own opinions and decisions on matters. Not to not even have a choice in the matter.

It is a baby your killing, it has a heart beat an everything. While you are having a abortion the baby tries to move away from the needle , they say when the needle is injected in the
baby it's very painful. Then they vaccum the baby out of you so that's why the baby is beheaded. Now in my opinion it's murder, the only way I see it is right to have an abortion is if it will literally kill u to have the baby. But if you get pregnant just give the baby up for adoption!!! There's so many couples who can't have kids that would take good care of the baby!

No its a fetus. In order for something to be able to live.. it should be able to breath. And from what I know Fetus's cannot breath.

At a certain trimester in the pregnancy a baby or "fetus" can breath. The baby can survive at 24 weeks into the pregnancy, if the woman gives birth early. Tho abortion is wrong to me a woman has no right to have an abortion in the 3rd trimester, if a woman wants a abortion she needs to do it as soon as she finds out. What's the point to have an abortion 6 months into a womans pregnancy?

Agreed about the time period. But I dont agree on their being a law. Forcing a women to have to keep a child. We have enough people in this world to be honest. Besides if abortion wasnt deemed wrong by religious purposes we would have stem cell research.. And save the people already on this earth.

What if a women is raped? Should she be forced to keep the hell spawn in her for 8 months. To give it up. And know for the rest of her life that her rapist and her child is somewhere in that world?
What about medical conditions? Like the childs heart is growing on the outside? Or their brain is growing on the outside? We should make this would be child suffer for the rest of its life because we FEEL BAD.

And its the people who cant accept this that are the true immature ones.

And speaking of the pill, I find it incredible that so many pro lifers are the ones trying to limit access to birth control and info on it as well...I don't care if the stupid bible says be fruitfull and multiply, we're already running about twenty times over what it needs to be to be sustainable - we don't need any more!

I agree. That's why my daughter started the pill as soon as she was able to bear a child. She is now 21 yrs old and finishing Dental School with a future ahead of her. No baby to keep her down, until she is ready.
