Re: Abandoned by Parents, Little Girl Who Suffers from Werewolf Syndrome Finds New Home
I am sorry to say it, but it was true. I volunteered at a shelter and spent many weekends at pet stores etc trying to adopt out gorgeous animals. You would not believe the amount of times I heard silly excuses like "Oh it's the wrong color", or "Oh no, we can't adopt that honey, it's tail is bent" or the classic " Don't be silly we can't have that one, it will clash with the loveseat. I agree with you, I had nothing but contempt for those type of people and were happy they didn't take these animals. I am not saying ALL all humans are like that, I was basically saying some people won't adopt anything unless it's 'perfect' in their eyes. Oh and I would not have a problem adopting that little girl. I actually like people and things that are 'different' than the norm because I love educating people on how wonderful those people/animals are. |

I think her condition is just the cutest damn thing, too. If allowed, someone in the U.S. probably would adopt her within months.

Too bad some people can't see past the physical. She is adorable to me and appears to have a good personality.

Her eyes and her smile speak of a very happy and bright soul. I think that's what is shouting 'cute and adorable' to those of us who see beyond the 'cover of the book'. She is very lovely and I believe she will thrive in life. |

Bless the little angel and I'm delighted she's found a new home. How dumb parents can disown something as precious as their daughter makes me SICK Hope she manages to make some friends :) |
