I'm wondering if it was someone who just didn't want a baby, they would have got an abortion. Then again I don't know the rules regarding abortions in other countries. This could be a case of pregnancy induced psychosis.

Just read the updated news of this. The baby was stabbed 14 times before he was buried in the dirt. The police arrested the 42 year old suspect. She said she unexpectedly went into labor while at work (chopping woods.) But I read comments made by people who know this woman. They said the woman confessed to them that she's been hiding the pregnancy from her husband, had the baby in the bathroom and got rid of it. Guess she was whoring around and didn't want her husband to find out. Whatever the reason, still no excuse for this disgusting act.
