8 Yo Boy Impaled Through Stomach by Tree Branch
India, At some distance from the farm where they lived his 6 yo sister asked him to climb up a tree to pluck a plum. So he did but a branch couldn't hold his weight so he fell and the branch impaled his belly when he landed on the ground. Holding his sisters hand they both walked back to the farm a quarter a mile away where he collapsed unconscious at the front door so his sister went in and called for her daddy who brought his eight year old son to the Hospital.

All things considered, he's pretty lucky, as the branch doesn't seem to have punctured any of his internal organs. On a side note, I wonder if he managed to grab the plum before he fell?  |
