As the text under the photo suggests, this male decided that he likes his decaying foot and doesn't want it amputated.
So he is given a Necrectomy (removing necrotic tissue) and a Fasciotomy (the removal of 'Fascia', the connective tissues beneath the skin that attaches, stabilizes, encloses, and separates muscles and other internal organs).

To be honest i don't see what the point of keeping something like that is The massive open area looks like it would be an infection magnet, and i doubt he could wear footwear with it. Unless he is like most of us on here and enjoys looking at stuff like this and wants to keep it for that reason

Thats a good idea actually, you could probably skip the que at quite a few places, just by showing it to everyone ahead of you in line to scare them all away
