Re: 6 Year Old Boy Has Lego Removed From Nose After 3 Years!
Oh yeah. When they realized they fucked up, they told me it was chronic and I'd never get rid of it. I'd always had problems breathing, but never thought it would be so serious. The stupid doctor even admitted to me that if it had gone on for very much longer, it could have turned fatal. -.-

Re: 6 Year Old Boy Has Lego Removed From Nose After 3 Years!
I lost my septum ring, so I now have a retainer in it so it doesn't close up. it's a really small piece of jewelry and it moves around if I wipe my nose or anything. The other day it slid out of the hole and the entire thing was in one nostril. I was so scared I'd swallow it or have to try to spit it out, but luckily it got it.

Re: 6 Year Old Boy Has Lego Removed From Nose After 3 Years!
M.D's and D.O's try to limit the amount of X-rays done on a small child. I guess I am thinking along the lines of some of the G.P.'s when they inevitably asked the parents "has your child been known to put objects in their nose". Usually, with a small child, a doc tries to gauge the parent's responses versus exposure to roentgen rays, which can have an adverse effect in some cases. Just saying.........
