I removed polycystic kidneys from a body when I was a mortician. In all honesty, we didn't half enjoy examining it! Bubble wrap full of gunk, was brilliant. Of course, tragic for the deceased but in my old line of work, we dealt with the daily gore and carnage with humour and stomachs of steel. You simply HAD to. |

My boyfriend's brother's girlfriend has this, and she said it's so painful. It's genetic, so her mom has it as well. I feel terrible when that happens because there's nothing I can do for her!

How is it one the most common in the world when it's only 12 million out of over 6 billion? How is "most common" defined in this situation?
