Seems survivable, in a likely non lethal location unless he drowned in his own blood. Makes me wonder though since it appears he's not bleeding...

Cut the trachea, also.. he did miss the EXTERNAL jugular... But I think he took out the internal carotids... (His left internal carotid looks like it's flopped over... our right hand viewing angle, bottom of wound.) No surviving that...  |
