Poor child

I've seen and deal with aborted babies for real when I worked in a hospital mortuary and the sight of them really upset me, I HATED it. Perfect tiny little souls killed and for what? Such a sad waste of life.

The tiny gir's rump-to-tail I dealt with fitted into my out-stretched hand, the size of the baby here. No physical defects, teeny nails and titchy little fingers and toes and covered in white downy hair. The mother wanted drugs, but not her own daughter

I made her a little tiny nappy for dignity, wrapped her in a pillow case used in the Children's Ward and put her in the freezer used for infants as they decompose quickly. Then I went into the office and cried. Couldn't help it, my body's reaction overcame me.

Thanks Driver, it was very emotioinal bringing it up again!! I had to have counselling because I felt I was dealing with murder victims who did not deserve to die and the looks on some of their little faces was horrible. Toes and fingers curled, mouths wide open - they sure did feel it

:/ Even though I am and will always be pro-choice, I also believe the age limit of the fetus/baby (whatever term makes you more comfortable) needs to be reduced. Kudos for sharing, I would've needed counseling too. You aren't alone in feeling that way...

Very sad but in some circumstances i can see why women choose to have an abortion so i am pro choice.
But late term abortions make me feel angry. Especially when it's not through child deformity or a mothers life is in trouble.
My son was born at 28 weeks and even though we had some problems he survived and is a perfectly healthy boy.

Some women need counselling too after going through and abortion, not all who have abortions are druggies as stated in the op. Some choose to have the abortion through being raped, i know i wouldn't keep a baby that i conceived through rape. Yes there the morning after pill but even that isn't 100%. It can be very traumatic terminating a life but just as traumatic to go through having a baby through those circumstances. Hard choices, not easy. And it's because of instances like that i will always be pro choice.
