It wouldn't have taken much to amputate it, a pair of nail scissors would have done the job. Fucking terrible how not one of the onlookers even attempts to comfort him.

Not so much tough. More like in shock. The chemicals released by the brain in situations like this have a numbing effect on both the body and the mind. You will notice that he never at any stage looks at his injuries, he is probably completely unaware of how bad it is. On the other hand, (excuse the pun) if he is aware of how bad his injuries are, then I agree with you. He is one tough little bugger. |
