13 Year Old Girl with Cheekbone Cancer
At the age of 8 she ran into a water tank at the playground and a swelling and bruising appeared. The swelling only went partially away after 3 months and the father noticed one of her eyes looked unusual. One month later the swelling appeared again so they turned to the hospital where x-rays were taken and a doc told it was cancer and a surgeon performed surgery scraping out some of the flesh. Immediately the symptoms got less and less. After 7-8 months the swelling appeared again so another surgery in combination with chemotherapy and radiotherapy were done. The symptoms got away again but 7 months later the swelling appeared again but this time bigger making the cheekbone and some teeth stick out. So she had surgery again, scraping out the flesh, pulling one of her molar teeth out and removing gum above the teeth and some flesh inside her mouth. 8 months later the swelling returned and gradually over the next years relocating her eye, jaw and cheekbone. The parents have no money left for further surgery and in this way asking the public for financial help. |
