Their culture and religion is why they have so many children, as well as being unable to afford birth control (if they could afford it). These are not people who can afford a wheelchair or proper medical braces and equipment. Did you see the pallet he sleeps/sits on? All those flies? This is heartbreaking, and with the situation he is in, I personally think that this is when humane compassion is needed, and the poor guy should be put to rest. (awaits backlash) I wouldn't want myself or children to live like that in that situation. The pain and discomfort as he slowly fades away must be excruciating. You see his chest bones around his heart are malformed? That little boys' heart is struggling to keep going and he probably won't live much longer anyway.  |

They probably couldn't afford brass, but a stack of rings made of bamboo, wood, cloth, etc. should work fine. At least far better than nothing. |
