Re: 1000 Pound Man Having His Ass and Legs Cleaned
From what I understand based on my research, it's very difficult for obese people to lose weight. I'm 5'4" (5'5" on a bad hair day. Lol) and weigh 205 pounds. Though, maybe less now that I had food poisoning yesterday. I let myself get that big from poor diet and not exercising like I should have after I fractured my hip. At any rate, from what I understand, each body needs a certain amount of calories each day just to function, be it 1,200 calories or 30,000. The less you weigh, the few calories you need just to keep your body function. From what I understand, if you do not eat this minimum, then you are depriving your body for calories it actually needs to function. Anything over this amount would contribute to weight gain. Again, from what I understand, the heavier you get, the more calories you need to feed all the cells in your body. This is the reason why so many morbidly obese people starve to death without losing weight. The more you weigh, the more calories you need just to function. If you are forcing someone who has to have 30,000 calories to feed all the cells in the body, giving that person 2,000 calories will starve the body and the person will die. I'm not an expert, but I think the plan for any morbidly obese person would to start a basic exercise program and slowly lose weight. That person would have to constantly monitor what the minimum calories needed are. As the weight gets down, the number of calories needed are dropped. It would take years to get back down to the appropriate weight, but if a person does it right, death would be staved off that much longer. I personally believe that being that drastically overweight shortens the lifespan. I could be wrong, but who knows. |

Re: 1000 Pound Man Having His Ass and Legs Cleaned
sorry you gotta just get up and work out, i eat between 3000 and 6000 calories a day in 5 small meals, with TONS of dairy fat, at leat 1 gallon of whole milk, or a pint of half and half. i have a good metabolism but that is nothing, i work out, cycle(60miles a day in summer, up to 117 degrees and 95% humidity- 3 gallons of water weight every single day lost/gained), and do yoga every day, oh and i have 2 over-sized disc's in my back, so i have 2 choices, work out, or be fucked, so low weight is a must for me, but not hard at all to maintain, video games, tv, fast food and rap have just ruined EVERYTHING! and allowed this crisis of obesity to exist... lord i just want the world to die most days... |
