Youth Dies in High Speed Accident
On the morning of Sunday Dec 7, 2014, around 08:00 hours, a serious accident happened in the Trans-Amazon Highway (BR 230). According to reports the 19-year old who’s name has not yet been released, lost control of his car, and hit the tire of a truck carrying poles, and a semi truck in the opposite direction.

At the time of collision, the vehicle involved in the accident also hit a minibus that was headed in the same direction of the car. Witnesses say the car was going at least 160 km/h when it collided with the truck.
