Young Woman Shot On The Way to School
Slightly differing accounts of this murder among the various news agencies that were reporting it. Undisputed is that this 21 year old woman was shot several times in the back by an armed man on a motorcycle. She was also carrying a backpack with textbooks in it and there was a community college of some sort in the vicinity. Several accounts read that she was the former girlfriend of a known drug dealer and that she was attending night classes to try to improve her life. This seems to be supported by her backpack and path to the school. The report said that she had only recently broken up with the dealer (pictured beneath her antemortem photo below) and that he was the prime suspect in her murder, though they had no evidence against him as none of the witnesses would ID him. His reputation in the barrio is said to be quite fierce. Several other accounts attest that she was a known dealer herself, with a record (unconfirmed) and several drug arrests in conjunction with the boyfriend's trafficking business. He is still assumed to be responsible for her murder, but that story indicates that she crossed him on a drug deal and was executed for it. Whatever the details, she's dead in the ditch with her corpse on the internet and he's back to peddling drugs in the neighborhood. If she was really trying to make something of her life by getting away from that lifestyle and her boyfriend, good on her. I hope they get the bastard that did this and perhaps we may see his death pics on this site.
