Young Woman Shot Beside Motorcycle
Not a ton of detail yet, just happened this afternoon in Ecuador. 30 year old woman was 'intercepted' while on her motorcycle and shot several times in the chest. The assassin took off and she was left slumped over next to her bike, dying. Not sure if she just sat down or fell down and then sort of got to her feet before she ran out of gas or what. Looks to me like she just plopped down on her ass, died, and pissed all over the road.  |

Always possible. But recent news updates indicate that she was the daughter of a city councilwoman, had a good job, and never had any trouble with the law. She was mostly focused on her work and her kid. Lot of social media outcry, more than I usually see for murders in Ecuador, mostly from people who said they knew her and her mother and were shocked that anything like this happened. |

She was clearly a genuine victim (or VIP kid) if the police actually taped off a crime scene to investigate... that never happens for drug dealers and gang members in South America.
