That's just sad. Not that she got killed, but that she thought she looked cool sitting on a moped and taking pictures of it. If I were sitting on the fucking thing, I would kick anyone's ass that tried to take a picture of it. But then again, I ride a Harley. Lol! Oh and also, as far as the damage done to her, it's not hard to get fucked up going down on pavement. Knock on wood, I've only went down once at about 5 miles per hour on pavement. Went down plenty of times on dirt bikes in the woods when I was a teenager though. My one experience at 5MPH on pavement was enough to burn the palms out of my leather gloves as well as take a lot of skin underneath that. The front of my jeans in the area of my legs were ripped open totally and more road rash there too. So you don't have to be going 100 miles per hour to get fucked up on pavement. Scooters like this will do 40-50 MPH. Plus add that to any speed that the other vehicle may be doing and it's a bad day. Especially in the case of head on collisions, etc. For anyone who has crashed on a bicycle, just multiply that by 10-30 times according to case. |
