Young Woman and a Man Shot in a Queue in Venezuela
As most of you know, it is almost impossible to get any necessities at all in Venezuela these days. This 22 years old woman left home at 9 pm Wednesday to queue up in front of a supermarket in the hope of getting something Thursday morning. She never reached so far. Unfortunately she was in the queue with a man (it is a bit unclear if she knew him and in fact stood together with him), who somebody wanted to kill. So approximately at 4 am the usual motorcycle with two hitmen rolled up, and fired against their target. The woman was just hit by accident - leaving her dead and her child orphaned. It seems that the man "administered" the queue, and maybe more than this one. More simply put: He sold places. I don't quite understand that his customers had to stand there all night, but there is no doubt in the sources on the type of business. In fact it is in most of the headlines. One of my sources tells that he carried a notebook with names and a bundle of banknotes (national, it is said, so almost worthless), which was "pierced by one of the rounds". Well, he was pierced himself too. Not the very best images this time, but a highly unusual story - and an unusual way the woman fell, considered that she was hit by a stray bullet and not forced down on her knees and shot in the back of her head. |
