Suicide is mostly a result of clinical depression, it's not always connected to a particular reason, like acne, in this case. These small reasons just trigger the suicide will, like breakup, unemployment, etc.

Of course, when a person has some incurable disease or get handicapped, it's a different story.

Personally, I would have preferred trying to get treatment for the Acne rather than become a piece of meat on the slab.
