Young Woman Found Murdered After Being Kidnapped by Taxi Driver

The body of a young woman who sold clothes online was discovered in some brush with three bullet wounds: in in her jaw, her neck, and her chest.

A short time before, she had made a post to her social media account asking for her friends to help her because she was in a taxi that was taking her to a strange location. Unfortunately, most of her friends thought it was some sort of joke and by the time anyone figured out she was missing, she'd already been left for dead beside the road.

According to her social media history, she was involved in a particularly acrimonious dispute with a disgruntled customer who was accusing her of fraud. Police are investigating this as a possible angle, as well as any of her ex-boyfriends. The woman had no known drug connections and no one in her family was approached about a ransom. Her body showed no additional injuries besides the bullet wounds and she had not been sexually assaulted. She was barefoot and no shoes were present at the scene.
