Young Woman Executed on the Street

22 year old woman was executed in the middle of the street in Tapachula, Chiapas, MX this morning.

No confessed to actually witnessing the killing, but several nearby citizens reported that they heard a vehicle pull up outside, a woman screaming, and then several gunshots. They were all, unsurprisingly, unwilling to leave their houses to confront the armed assassins. Of course, by the time the police arrived, the girl was dead.

Mexico censors almost everything these days, but I caught this one early enough to get a few images prior to the inevitable censoring.

The girl has not been publicly identified, but based on social media posts from family members, her name is 'Ivon.' I have one sketchy antemortem from a family member's page, but am still looking through socials to find more.

She was allegedly kidnapped/lifted (circumstances unclear) from a nearby nightclub. It was unclear whether she was a patron of the establishment or an employee. In any case, she was seen leaving the bar with several men and did not seem visibly happy to be with them.

She was not sexually assaulted, but had been shot twice in the face, including directly in the mouth.
The murder took place near a military installation and it has been reported that CCTV cameras were in the area, but no footage is released yet.
