Young Woman Executed by the Side of the Road in Colombia
The body of a young woman was discovered lying on the side of a small access road on Sunday near Miranda, Colombia. Local residents reported hearing a gunshot and when they went to investigate, the recently-deceased cadaver of G.M.C was found. She had been executed with a gunshot to the head at close range. The news did not disclose exactly how long it took residents to locate her body, but the implication is that it was fairly quick. Due to the reports of the firearm discharge as well as the presence of biological evidence at the scene, the police believe she was taken to that spot to be executed rather than killed elsewhere and dumped. No motive or suspects have yet been disclosed. |

at least she is lying in a graceful position, not "looking dumb" like w legs at a weird angle, body crumpled on top of itself, nose mashed into mud, etc.

Poor girl, hopefully she didn't experience an extended period of fear before it happened. But even if so, she is fully clothed, sick as it sounds that's something to be grateful for.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. The position of the bloodstain on the road and the directionality of the peri-mortem urine staining on her pants would indicate that she fell and was resting on her left side when she actually died. I suspect she was rolled over onto her back by whoever found her in order to check for signs of life.
