Young Woman Executed By Phantom Bike
That subject header was an actual headline. Heh, you can't make this shit up. 25 year old woman was found lying face down in front of her home. Her neighbors had heard a series of shots and then heard a motorcycle speed away, but no one was seen. Because the victim was wearing a helmet at the time, police assume she was either preparing to leave or had just turned. her own bike was in front of the house. The girl had been shot a total of four times. Twice in the back and once in each leg, just above the knee. Not sure if they took her legs out because she was running away or if they dropped her with the body shot(s) and then decided to put one behind each knee as she was lying there dying, just to make a point. "Executed" is a rather overwrought term here. Just plain "murdered" will do just fine. Likewise the use of "assassinated" when some drug dealer or other gangster is knocked off.
