Young Woman Executed on a Motorcycle

Just happened yesterday. Story behind it is a little bizarre. This woman, as yet unidentified and about 20-25 years old, called for a 'mototaxi.' This method of public transport is basically a 'motorcycle for hire" and is fairly common in Brazil. So the taxi driver picks her up, whereupon she nervously tells him to take her as quickly as possible to her destination. They get about 5 miles away and are traveling down a dirt road when a truck pulls lengthwise in front of them, causing the driver to stop the bike. As soon as he does, some guy comes out of the weeds, shoots the broad in the side of the head, and then takes off. The taxi driver panicked, jumped off the bike and ran for his life. He immediately called for the police and explained the story. Of course she was long dead by then.

According to the report I read, the entire scene was captured on a security camera for a nearby parking lot. Given the free distribution of crime-related media in Brazil, I expect the footage from the murder will surface soon on the internet, at which point I'll post it here.
