Young Woman Crashes Scooter and Dies
According to a few witnesses from a block or so away, the girl had stopped and asked for directions and appeared somewhat drunk. She then rode off moving fairly slowly. About 10 minutes later, she somehow lost control of the scooter on a gentle curve and wound up flying about 7 feet from the bike and smashing her head into the wall of a building. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Responders said she had virtually no injuries on her body except the impact to her head and neck, which proved instantly fatal. She was wearing a helmet. She is estimated to be between 20 and 25 years old, but has not yet been formally identified. Side note: After more than 15 years of finding and archiving these sorts of photos and videos, I actually think this is the first time I've ever seen a big puddle of urine in the middle of a chalk outline. (the second video when they roll her over)  |
