24 year old waitress was taking a smoke break at the patio bar where she worked when she was approached by a man who, without announcing his presence, shot her in the chest and in the arm.

Emergency personnel were called, but she was dead on the patio by the time they arrived.

Crime of passion was initially suspected, but apparently two other bar waitresses have been murdered in the immediate area this week, so the police are investigating that rather peculiar angle at the moment.
