Young Pregnant Girl Stabbed to Death by Her Ex-boyfriend
Milena Alves da Silva was waiting to go into school (some articles say that she was 13 years old, others say 17). She was 3 months pregnant (apparently with twins) + had recently separated from her boyfriend, 22 year old José Castro Barreto. In Jundiá, on 14th November 2017, as Milena was waiting to go into school, she was approached by José. He was not happy with the break up of their relationship. He stabbed Milena with a knife. She was struck in her neck, left leg + stomach. She also had wounds to her hands where she had tried to defend herself. Milena was found by her aunt who then alerted the police. An ambulance arrived but Milena died in the hospital. José was arrested.      The woman in the white top is Milena's mother.   |
