On ours in the US, they say "Warning, this story might upset some" and then maybe a blurred image of some body from a distance.

I suspect that is why most of us are here. Because we're tired (and/or bored) of the media and governmental regulatory bodies telling us what we are and are not allowed to see.

Each man should be his own judge of what he can and cannot handle in terms of content absorption. I'm forty fucking years old and don't need a babysitter to monitor how much of reality I am equipped to view, especially from the safe distance of a photo lens and computer screen.

Women subconsciously target the torso when they shoot victims in homicide cases, but are much less likely to use a gun when they commit suicide. It has more to do with many women being repulsed by gore and carnage, though vanity probably plays a part in many incidences.
In female suicide cases where a gun has been used, they are more likely to place the gun to their temple rather than in their mouths.
Of course, there are always exceptions to the norm, and she may very well be one of them
