25 year old woman told her husband that she had a headache and was going to go out for some medicine when he laid down to take a nap. She had given birth to twins 4 months earlier and had been depressed and complaining of headaches.

When the husband awoke, she was hanging in the doorway. He called the neighbors for help, but they determined she was already dead and should wait for the police. Neighbors said the couple was friendly, quiet, and rarely fought.

The woman had used a blue length of clothesline for a noose (thin and sharp, typically a painful way to go as opposed to, say a towel or scarf) and had stood on a blue plastic chair, which she then presumably stepped off of. She was hanged almost in full suspension, with only her toes barely touching the concrete floor.

The scene report and visual examination noted that she had hanged herself wearing a green nightgown. Her head was tilted backwards, with her tongue protruding slightly. Her underpants were soiled and there was a puddle of fresh urine beneath her body. No signs of violence or injury were observed on the body aside from the ligature mark, which matched the clothesline exactly. She was presumed to have been dead no more than 30 minutes when found.

Chronic daily headache is no joke tho..
Have a friend who experienced same thing, he basically had the headache for almost two months non-stop, and it changed him drastically too, from losing appetite and weight, sleeping problem, and the worst was being stressed a lot because of it..
Glad he was seeking help and being treated properly now, i can't even bear having headache for a day let alone for months..

I don't know where this is, but obviously it's another of the many countries who have no mental health care.

I have an idea that her husband and Drs. didn't even take her mental health seriously. Probably thought something stupid like, "Just snap out of it" or "She won't kill herself because of the babies."

Indeed. I live in a small touristy town in Arizona; we actually have easier access to MH care then when I lived in L.A. Go figure.

I'm in Tucson, and they actually have pretty good and accessible Mental Health care here.
