Young Man Tortured to Death During a Satanic Ritual to Turn Him into a Vampire
In Chihuahua on 1st March 2016, the body of 24 year old Miguel Edwin Juarez Palma was found. He died the previous night after being strangled, beaten + slashed in the neck with a broken bottle whilst he was tied to a chair. He was stabbed more than 25 times in the face + neck His body was discovered in a street wrapped inside two plastic bags. Detectives believe his killers wanted to make it look like it was a drugs related crime. Miguel's blood was found inside a cyber café (owned by Omar) called "Frikiplaza" (Freak Shop), He was reportedly killed inside the toilets in the middle of the night + the killers are said to have used bleach to try + clean up the scene. 72 hours after the murder, three people were arrested + accused of killing their friend during a satanic ceremony. Omar Sánchez García (aged 25) Gustavo Adolfo Dorantes (aged 18) Iveth Nayeli López Hernández (aged 18) Miguel was fooled into taking part in an initiation ceremony to become part of a satanic cult called "The Sons of Baphomet 1". Instead he was tortured after one of the alleged killers said he should be sacrificed so he could be a vampire. Calep Josefath Acosta Lara, the leader of the sect, was on the run from the police. In court, relatives of the detainees, as well as the victim, attended to witness the hearing. Omar + Iveth both received 21 years. Calep + Gustavo were "sentenced during a 13 year abbreviated procedure with 4 months in prison" (not sure what that means).
