Young Man Shot Dead in Caruaru, Pernambuco, Brazil, February 28, 2015
A young man whose name and age were not reported was shot dead at about 3:30 a.m. on February 28, 2015, in Caruaru, Pernambuco, Brazil. Police counted at least seven wounds to his head and neck. The exact location within the city was not reported, and no motive, suspect, or account of the events leading to the shooting was established. Many people were present in the area, but none admitted seeing or hearing anything connected to the killing. It was described as the first homicide of that weekend, the 12th homicide in Caruaru during February and the 26th of 2015. The victim remained publicly unidentified, and his precise age and neighborhood were not reported.
