Young Man Shoots His Pregnant Mother Dead
On 4th August 2018 in Pernambuco, 35 year old Maria Lucivânia Da Silva was shot dead by her 19 year old son, Adriel Werick Da Silva. Adriel had been living with his father up until a few months ago. He had been arrested for several crimes + was sent to live with his mother. He tried to steal money (R$ 1.000,00) + 2 guns (a pistol + a revolver) that belonged to Maria + ended up shooting her 3 times (neck, chest + abdomen). Adriel fled the scene but at his hiding location, a murder attempt was made on him in reprisal for murdering his own mother. Police came to the scene + he was arrested. Maria was 3 months pregnant. A custody hearing took place the next day.

So she birthed him when she was about 16 years old and did the responsible thing. Gave up her life to raise the piece of shit and it was all pointless in the end. Your hopes and dreams for your kids involve ideas of success and happiness. Who could ever think when staring into their newborn's eyes, "this little boy will murder me one day." |

I can't help but wonder if the son was the father of his mother's baby. The situation seems to allow for such extreme family dynamics. It can and does happen.  |
